My Wonderful Well-Heeled SocieTEA

Today's modern bride has many connections. From playing with dolls to becoming a career woman, life builds us a tapestry of sisters.

For someone like me, it involves virtually a worldwide sisterhood. I was honored to have my closest ladies - who also happen to be farthest in distance - involved with my bridal tea, thanks to webcam!

The first question was the obvious; what shoes did I wear?

Sponsors made it a memorable day for me, beginning with how I accessorized my chiffon frock; with the Chantilly Lace Cuff from Stella & Dot

As to what was in my bridal tea cup, I sipped Iron Goddess Tea from The Tea Spot. It puts the "ooh" in oolong tea!

I was also fortunate to have stars drop in to my tea, by way of Ben & Tournesol Prêt-à-porTea Designer Tea Bags:

The dessert du jour was a trifecta of the senses; a luscious pound cake from Nonnie Waller's! From their stunning Crown Jewels collection, I received their Yellow Quartz sateen pillow-top hat box, which held the original recipe pound cake (chosen for Oprah's Favorite Things TWICE), a fresh-cut nosegay worthy of preserving and sateen emblem bag. It truly was the most beautiful presentation!

But would it really be a well-heeled event without giveaways? Not only did the girls attending tune in to see me unwrap the gifts from my wedding registry, they won gifts!

Sponsored giveaways included:

~ A $25 gift code from GlassDharma

~ The Tea Spot's gift set of Organic Skinny Tea and Tuffy Tea Steeper

~ A whimsical Has Anyone Seen My Glass Slipper? wall decal

~ A pair of ShoeClips.Biz Petite Starlet Shoe Clips

~ 1/2 dozen themed cookies from Kute Kouture Cookies:

It will be a day I will always cherish; thanks to all who participated!
