TWHS Reviews Jessie Steele's Goodie Two Shoes Apron

Goodie Two Shoes Apron from Jessie Steele

As little girls, we get our first taste of fashion from our mothers and grandmothers by playing dress up in their heels and makeup. We also learn the magic behind family recipes, often at the hem of the apron of matriarchs who mastered them. It's only fitting we also carry the tradition of donning aprons, merging fashion and function.

So you can imagine my joy when Jessie Steele - the premiere apron line for all things vintage and chic - shipped me their fun apron bedecked with heels called Goodie Two Shoes for review!

The women behind the apron line are Helena Steele and daughter Claire, who named the company after Helena's mother Joan and grandmother Jessie. Armed with her own private collection of vintage aprons, Helena saw the need in the modern woman's lifestyle to keep the tradition fresh and appealing.

When I put on my Goodie Two Shoes for the first time, I immediately noticed that the weight of the cotton is heavier than most of the aprons I own. The hot pink bow in grosgrain is discreetly attached on the hip pocket with a safety pin, so you can remove if you want. The extra long ties at both the neck and waist make for pretty bows, and the flirty skirt makes any kitchen chore more stylish!

Lest not forget the shoes; in the oh-so-currently hot trend of black and white, they also happen to be in my fave style of peep-toes! You will definitely cause shoe envy at your next party when you wear it.

I look forward to a holiday season of baking and hosting in my Goodie Two Shoes Apron, while embracing the memories of the women who empowered us in realizing what once was a dated stigma is now a timeless fashionable accessory.

You, too, can be head over heels for Goodie Two Shoes; from October 25- November 1, use promo code WELLHEELED to receive 15% off the Goodie Two Shoes Apron Collection!
