The highly-anticipated unveiling of Christian Louboutin's Cinderella slipper has finally arrived at Haute Couture week in Paris!
In lieu of glass, the lace and tulle shoe is crafted from, "lightness, beauty and transparency" as described by the designer.
Crystals are sprinkled along the lace and cover the stiletto for an enchanting effect. Two butterflies flutter on the shoes: one landing on the vamp, while the other rests near the ankle. As always, Louboutin’s signature red soles kiss the shoes with lipstick-stained delicacy.

In collaboration with The Walt Disney Studios, an invitation to Louboutin was sent to redesign Cinderella’s famous slipper, in honor of Disney’s global release of the classic “Cinderella” Diamond Edition on Blu-ray™ this fall.
While it will surely be a fantasy wedding shoe for future brides, 20 modern-day Cinderellas will have the chance to be a part of the magic and win one of the 20 original slippers created for this collaboration.
