TWHS Reviews Anastasia Beverly Hills' See and Be Seen Kit

Most of us grew up with the adage, "Mother knows best". And most of our mothers instilled in us the advice, "Children should be seen and not heard". Well, this Mother's Day gift will have moms quickly changing their tunes when they see it.

Every now and then something comes across my desk that takes me by surprise. As most of us recover from the shock of this spring nor'easter, that thing was a package chocked with unexpected goodies. Imagine my glee in unpacking Anastasia Beverly Hills' See and Be Seen Make-up Kit AND a 3D Viewmaster for review!

The See and Be Seen Kit -which retails at $44 (with $80 value) - will not be available until next month at Sephora and on Anastasia's site, but I'm giving you an exclusive peek at it! In the kit, you'll find:

· Two new HydraFull Gloss colors in Heiress and Plastic. The limited edition colors were created specifically for the theme of Make It Happen and are exclusively in the See and Be Seen Kit. Instead of sponge tip applicators, the lip glosses have a flat paddle tip. Heiress quickly became my favorite, thanks to its deeper hue over Plastic's pink.

· The new caramel tinted Brow Gel. The brow gel is created to set your brows with perfection and is fortified with botanical hair conditioners and essential oils.  The caramel tint is subtle and isn't overwhelming.

· Eye shadow is NOT how you'll see me rocking the neon color trend, so I appreciate the soft pink and golden hues of the ILLUMIN8 Shadow duo called On Set. ILLUMIN8 Eye Shadow Duos are designed to illuminate, firm, and smooth the appearance of skin while also soothing, softening and hydrating.

And as an added treat, the 3D Viewmaster (not part of the See and Be Seen Kit) was a whimsical way for me to see up close and personal the Anastasia Beverly Hills Lash Genius, a topcoat for your mascara (affectionately called "an umbrella for your mascara"). No better time than this week's April showers/hail/sleet... you catch my drift!

Lash Genius is also ideal for the spring bride, as I found out tears will most likely overflow.
