Oprah's Book Club Selection Goes Old School For The Holidays




Upon hearing Oprah announce the 65th Book Club Selection as a two-fer of Charles Dickens' classics A Tale of Two Cities and Great Expectations, I immediately went to her site, as I feel classic novels are an investment to pass on to future generations.

With no links to the special edition book, I turned to Amazon. At first, I couldn't find any sign of the 800-page special edition version created by Penguin Publishing. Did they not get the memo it was being aired to millions today?

It finally appeared an hour later. Meaning Amazon's elves will have to stock up on Red Bull tonight once it airs on the West Coast.

Another option is to invest in this leather-bound book from the Library of Literary Classics series.
