Cupid, Champagne and Wedding Shoes
One of my fabulous Tweeps told me she is having a hard time finding bridal shoes to wear for her Valentine's Day nuptials. Her wedding venue is none other than the Empire State Building, and her dress is of vintage ivory lace with an overall theme of Hollywood Glam; gorge!
This was a no-brainer; Giuseppe Zanotti's Chiffon-Flower Sandal would be so Rita Hayworthy for a bride to wear in her Hollywood Glam wedding. But the challenge is that she desires to wear a heel of 2 inches. To the Cloud...
Without actually seeing the dress, I have compiled a list of possible footwear for her to choose from. My first choice is the kitten heel with crystal-embellished buckle (shown above). Of course, a NYC wedding catapults every fashionista into an Empire State of mind. Who wouldn't want to be Carried away in a shoe inspired by the wedding shoe in SATC 2 The Movie? And yes, Virginia, it's available in royal blue!
Bridal by Butter Women's Cayla-B Mid-Heel Slingback is simple, yet chic with feminine detailing. The heel's height is 2 3/4", but I found out most heels right at 2 inches are just blah; to-dye-for in your wedding colors.
This lovely bowed 2 1/4" heel peep-toe is available in ivory and nude lace:
Martinez Valero 'Ursula' Pump
A 2 1/4" heel d'Orsay in ivory satin:
Kate Spade New York - Evie (Ivory Satin) - Footwear
For a flash of opulence, this 2" kitten heel is dipped in gold glitter. Consider it if you want an unexpected pop of glitz and glam peeking from under a wedding gown!
Kate Spade New York - Deedee (Old Gold Sequin) - Footwear
