British Fashion Designer Alexander McQueen was found dead today, and is believed to have committed suicide.
According to the Daily Mail, McQueen reportedly hung himself at his luxury flat in Mayfair, central London. His mother died on February 2nd, and her funeral was scheduled today.
I have highlighted his edgy, signature footwear throughout my years of blogging, and his death is leaving an unexpected hole in the fabric and hearts of fashion lovers.
There will surely be moments of silence in his honor on this first day of New York Fashion Week, as well as London Fashion Week and at the unveiling of his new collection at Paris Fashion Week next month.
