Marshalls' NYC Exhibit For Domestic Violence

The National Domestic Violence Hotline (NDVH) and Marshalls have joined together to take a stand for Domestic Violence Awareness Month:

~ Thursday, October 8th
~ New York City at Union Square Park
~ Noon to 1 PM

Together, they will launch an integrated program that aims to raise money and awareness for the prevention of domestic violence. Along with Robin Givens, Marshalls and the NDVH will unveil a symbolic exhibit honoring all those who take a stand against domestic violence. The exhibit, which is comprised of six unique arches, will feature information about the cause, the names of the many organizations who have worked tirelessly to put an end to domestic violence and celebrity audio messages of support from Jennifer Love Hewitt, Joe Torre, Rosie Perez, Martina McBride, Vivica Fox, Robin Givens, Chaka Khan, Michael Bolton, and more.

This event supports the annual Marshalls "Shop 'Til it Stops" in-store program, where for every pair of shoes purchased at Marshalls during October 1-15th, one dollar - up to $150,000 - will be donated to the NDVH to help put an end to domestic violence.

After the unveiling, the tunnel will be open to the public until 6pm on October 8th and then from Noon-6pm on October 9th.

Please let everyone you know in New York City to attend!
